Granberg will join us in Chicago to rehearse.

a•pe•ri•od•ic's 50th concert to date features commissioned pieces by two young experimental music composers and works by two well-established composers. Newly commissioned works by Belgian composer MAYA VERLAAK and Iowa-based CHRISTINE BURKE will be premiered alongside pieces by PAMELA Z and the late PAULINE OLIVEROS, a composer who inspired the formation of a•pe•ri•od•ic.
Both Verlaak and Burke will be in residence for the concert, and will share insights into their new works in a public discussion.

project, collaboration, and concert.
London: I'll be working with Apartment House/Another Timbre
recording my second composer portrait CD.
Basell: I'll collaborate on a project with Clara de Asís which will
culminate in a concert.

Several years ago I was asked to contribute a score to Tomoko Hojo's
"Unfinished Descriptions," a project based on Hojo's research of Yoko
Ono's solo exhibition "Unfinished Paintings and Objects." Each of the
30 contributing composers responded to a prompt from Ono's show.
Now this collection has been released as a publication holding 7" record
of the performances, a booklet with documentation, an essay by David
Toop, and the 30 performance scores.
